Mr Tunde Lemo is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria as well as the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria. He has over 35 years of senior management experience in both the public and private sectors. Mr. Lemo graduated from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), with a 1st class Bachelor of Science degree, in Accountancy in 1984. Whilst at UNN, he won 7 academic laurels, including the best overall graduating student in the Accounting Faculty.
Mr Lemo served as Deputy Governor in charge of Operations, at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). During his time at the CBN, he drove the industry-wide shared services initiative towards achieving efficient banking services with 30% cost savings for the Nigerian banking industry and greater penetration of banking services. He also provided strategic direction and supervised 5 departments of the CBN including the Reserve Management, Banking and Payments System, Currency Operations, Branch Operations and Information Technology departments.
Prior to his role as Deputy Governor, Operation, he was Deputy Governor, Financial Systems Surveillance. He is an experienced and versatile public officer and financial manager. His contributions to public policy span from the implementation of the Banking Sector Consolidation, to formulation and implementation of the Microfinance Policy and Supervisory Framework both under the supervision of the CBN Governor.
He was once Chairman of both the Abuja Security and Commodities Exchange and the Nigeria Export Import Bank; during his time he led the restructuring of both institutions. He equally served as Vice Chairman, the Technical Committee for the establishment of Africa Finance Corporation. Mr. Tunde Lemo served as a Director of Africa Finance Corporation for between 2008 to 2018.
Prior to his appointment as Deputy Governor, he served as MD/CEO of Wema Bank Plc between 2000 and 2003; during which time he led the transformation of the institution resulting in the bank’s superlative performance and ultimately occasioned the bank being ranked amongst the top 10 most profitable commercial banks in Nigeria in 2003.
Mr Lawanson, a chartered surveyor, is a seasoned financial expert. He retired as an Executive Director, First Bank Plc in 2014. Mr. Lawanson graduated from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka with a Bachelor of Science degree in Estate Management in 1981. He also has an MBA in Finance from the University of Lagos.
In addition to serving on the Board of First Bank Plc, Mr Lawanson has served on various Boards, including Airtel Nigeria Plc, FBN Capital Limited, First Registrars and Investors Services Limited. Mr Lawanson started his banking career in International Merchant Bank Plc. He held several senior and executive positions in various banks, including Intercity Bank Plc, Gateway Bank Plc.
Mr Olaoniye, an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, is a Certified Public Accountant. He graduated from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy in 1982. He started his professional career with PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Nigeria.
Mr. Olaoniye held senior management positions in several banks and companies in Nigeria, including Allstates Trust Bank, Gateway Bank, Intercontinental Bank and Dangote Cement Company Plc.
Mr Sogaolu, a well-informed and disparate Materials Management professional, is a member of Materials Management Institute of Nigeria. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics in 1984 from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
He retired as a senior management staff member at Chevron Nigeria Limited after a meritorious career in the company. He gained over 20 years’ experience from working on various assignments around the world including Escravos, Lagos, Port Harcourt and the USA.
He has also attended various courses in procurement both locally and internationally.
Mrs Lemo is a reputable teacher and school proprietress. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Education from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. Prior to embarking on her career as a school proprietress and administrator, she was a teacher with the Lagos State Government for several years.
She is currently an Executive Director of Leadforte Gate Limited, an organization that provides first class nursery, primary and secondary education in Ogudu GRA and Lekki-Awoyaya, Lagos using world class teaching/instruction facilities. She is also a Director of Dapkik Ventures Ltd, a multi-purpose outfit with interest in real estate and logistics.
MrsMr. Ben Oladapo is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers, Nigeria; and an Authorized Dealing Clerk of the Nigerian Stock Exchange.
Benjamin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Ado-Ekiti (now Ekiti State University) and an MBA from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State.
Prior to joining Lambeth as the Chief Executive Officer, he worked with WSTC Financial Services Limited, an Investment boutique in Lagos, Nigeria where he held several management positions.
Benjamin was a volunteer in reviewing, training and implementing the X-GEN Trading Platform of the Nigerian Stock Exchange.
