It was licensed as a Financial Institution by The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and registered by The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) as Broker/Dealer, Investment Adviser and Funds/Portfolio Manager in 2004.

It commenced business on the Nigerian Stock Exchange on 23rd of June, 2005.
